A boy is walking on the beach searching for shells when he sees other kids building a castle. He thinks about joining them but is too shy. Instead, he builds a wall. When the waves begin to destroy his creation, a girl with a metal shovel appears. Soon they’re building castles. For the boy, a day that began searching for shells leads to a discovery much more important.
